It’s In The Details

Restaurant Development: Detailed exploration of what it takes to run the operational, strategic, and conceptional aspects of a restaurant. The devil is in the details, and we will explore menu creation, service operations, restaurant design, etc., to provide a foundation for seeing the bigger picture in terms of how everyone’s effort comes together and impacts the other. We are all connected!
The Evolved League
Teamwork: Enlightening and reminding participants that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. The participants will explore the importance of teamwork in a restaurant setting with the hope that it motivates and creates connectedness, empathy, understanding, and support for one another. We believe this will translate to other areas of their lives.
Dream It.. Then See It
Creativity: An exploration of individual uniqueness, the courage to live within it and the ability to connect with the uniqueness/creativity of others. The participants will engage in tasks that draws out their individual and shared creativity through food, gardening concepts, culture, and language.
Rep Your Hood

The understanding that is created from this exploration will help inspire communities to embrace The Evolved Network as a family member rather than an alien intruder to its culture and history, while promoting advocacy and pride in their hood.
Money Trees

Participants will explore self-sustainability as hope, empowerment, and connection through gardening, financial literacy, the preservation of our planet, and their relationship to each other and what they consume.
Soul..Food
Nutrition: Participants will be engaged in an exploration of what it means to feed their soul without taking essentialist standards of what it means to be healthy. In this program participants will expand their understanding of choice as related to what is meaningful in any particular moment as it relates to what they choose to consume. We will also look at nutrition for the soul through the event of the aesthetic of our interdisciplinary relationship to the land and food as well as soul care of shared communal meals.
Real Talk
Communication: Communication is an essential tool to effectively navigate our world. It also is crucial to connection and relational quality, which is the most healing value as related to human suffering. Participants will engage in both explorations and activities that supports the development of this quality. The participants will explore how this impacts professional and personal settings through different aspects of a restaurant.
